Liane Carroll - A Century of 100 Songs

"A Century of 100 songs" is a series of five Thursday concerts from February to June 2018 at the Studio in The Other Palace, all at 8pm, showcasing 100 of the greatest songs of the 20th century, performed by and featuring five of the UK’s greatest singers of jazz and popular music.

Liane is one of the UK’s greatest singer/pianists, who with her infectious personality, brings Entertainment with a capital “E”, most recently to launch London’s 2017 Jazz Divas Series and with Claire Martin to close the 2017 EFG London Jazz Festival with her Ella Fitzgerald Centenary Concert. Her first four albums all enjoyed four-starred reviews, and, “Ballads” received ***** from Jazz Journal. Her “Seaside” album, won CD of the year at the 2015 British Jazz awards.
